About the Organizers
Mangroove.ph is a community and an online archive of well-thought-out and carefully crafted travel itineraries and tours. ‘Reef to Ridge’ is the first tour offered by Mangroove.ph, with an emphasis on sustainable and experience-based travel.

Even if you’re not a freediver, you are welcome to join. Regardless, you will still enjoy the trip.
You will be guided on Danjugan Island by an experienced tour guide who will impart knowledge about the island’s ecosystem.
You will be guided by the co-founder of Mangroove Ph who will impart knowledge about Bacolod City’s rich history and culture.
The trip is scheduled for a weekday when there won’t be as many people at any of the destinations.

Day 1: Meet the Sanctuary
Arrival at Bacolod – Silay International Airport.
Transfer to Danjugan Island for check-in & orientation.
Danjugan island tour (land).
Day 2: Explore in One Breath
Danjugan island sunrise meditation.
Snorkel or freedive at Twin Peaks, Julien’s Wreck, and Danjugan’s house reefs.
Night snorkel at Typhoon Beach.
Day 3: Beyond the City
Go back to Bacolod City.

Day 4: Slow Down Thursday
Dip into Mambukal hot spring.
